Remote varifocal control covers focal length, manual focus and autofocus from the software. On a multi-camera job that is the difference between commissioning from a laptop and commissioning from a ladder, and it means a scene that changes later, a new fence or a re-laid car park, gets re-framed without a site visit.
P-iris rather than a fixed iris gives better depth of field and control over exposure than a simple auto iris, which shows in scenes that mix bright and shaded areas. Infrared reaches about 95 feet. It runs on PoE or 12V DC, so it fits both new network installs and positions that already have local power. IP66 rated, and the turret form factor avoids the IR reflection off the dome bubble that plagues some domes.
