Camera Wi-Fi complaints are rarely the camera. They are a congested 2.4 GHz band, a router that reboots nightly, or a customer who changed their ISP and nobody reconnected the devices. Putting the security hardware on a gateway you control removes all three as failure modes, and it means a broadband change does not become a service call for every camera on site.
