Add two doors without adding a controller. The X100 carries everything a pair of openings needs, two reader inputs, four relay outputs and four programmable inputs, and hangs off an X1100 on an RS-485 run. The customer keeps one controller, one IP address and one place to manage users while the door count grows.

This is what makes phased access control jobs work. Sell the X1100 for the front and back door, then come back and add the warehouse, the server room and the side entrance as budget appears, without re-architecting anything or standing up a second controller and a second network drop.

Up to 16 modules connect per expansion port, for 32 modules and 64 readers on a single X1100. Each module carries its own dedicated tamper, AC fail and battery fail inputs, so a remote enclosure reports its own condition rather than going dark. UL 294 recognized, and for use with the X1100 controller only.

System requirements
