Twelve relays on one board, for the jobs where the access control system has to drive more than doors. Elevator floor relays, gate operators, lighting contactors, HVAC interlocks and annunciators all come off the X300 under the same schedules and permissions that run the openings.

Built for the commercial installer

Getting twelve outputs from one module rather than six two-relay boards saves enclosure space, RS-485 addresses and wiring time. Each output is a Form-C contact rated 2 A at 30 VDC, so you have both normally open and normally closed available per point without adding a relay module behind it.

Two programmable inputs come along for local interlock or feedback, plus dedicated tamper, AC fail and battery fail inputs so a remote enclosure supervises itself. UL 294 and UL 1076 recognized, for use with the X1100 controller only.

FAQs

What can the relay outputs drive?
Each is a Form-C contact rated 2 A at 30 VDC resistive. That covers elevator floor relays, gate operator inputs, lighting and HVAC contactor coils and annunciators. Use an interposing relay for anything heavier.
Are the outputs normally open or normally closed?
Form-C, so each output gives you both. You can wire a fail-safe or fail-secure condition per point without adding an external relay to invert the contact.
Will this work with any Alarm.com door controller?
No. The X300 is for use with the X1100 Door Controller only. It does not expand the Mercury series controllers.
Does this need a separate access control server or software licence?
No. It reports to the Alarm.com for Business platform, and doors and users are managed from the Alarm.com website or app. There is no on-site server or head-end software to maintain.
What network expertise does installation require?
None beyond a normal IP drop. Alarm.com describes it as plug and play, with hardware configured from the customer website or the app rather than through a local programming tool.
