The Alarm.com AUC-LX30B-Q50TU-AUC-D is the ideal takeover solution for upgrading older POTS-based residential and commercial security systems to the Alarm.com smart security platform. Installation Notes
Maximum distance from the communicator to the control panel is 10 feet. Use 14-22 AWG wire (CAT5/CAT6 is not sufficient). Connect the antenna before applying power to avoid damaging the module. Allow 10 minutes after initial power-up for the unit to initialize before testing.
