The 438D-6N5 puts a compact, alloy-steel gong on the wall or ceiling for jobs where a traditional vibrating bell is the right call over an electronic horn - retrofits, older buildings, or specs that call for it by name.

Built for the commercial fire installer

The 6-inch gong reaches 85 dBA at 10 feet, the smallest and most compact option in the line for tighter spaces or lower ambient noise. Heavy-duty cast underdome construction and a rugged, compact vibrating mechanism keep power draw low (0.034A at 120 Vac) while running continuously. The included mounting plate fits any standard single-gang opening, and the optional 449 weatherproof back box extends it to outdoor and wet locations.
