The 439D-8AW puts a loud, unmistakable alloy-steel gong on the wall or ceiling for jobs where a traditional vibrating bell is the right call over an electronic horn - retrofits, older buildings, or specs that call for it by name.

Built for the commercial fire installer

The 8-inch gong reaches 86 dBA at 10 feet, striking a middle ground between the smaller 6-inch and larger 10-inch bells in the line. Heavy-duty cast underdome construction and a rugged, compact vibrating mechanism keep power draw low (0.085A at 24 Vdc) while running continuously. The included mounting plate fits any standard single-gang opening, and the optional 449 weatherproof back box extends it to outdoor and wet locations.
