The ANS25XG adds 25 watts of voice evacuation power to existing Kidde ANS series fire alarm systems without requiring a second main panel. Mount it in the same UL Listed enclosure, connect to the main panel's audio bus, and extend coverage to additional speaker circuits - getting full NFPA 72 voice evacuation compliance across larger buildings or harder-to-reach zones.
Built for the commercial fire alarm installer
Designed to work with the ANS25, ANS50, and ANS100 main audio notification panels, this expansion amplifier supports both 25V and 70.7V speaker circuits, field selectable to match whatever's already on the wall. Modules can be ganged together for up to 2,000 watts total system audio power, so coverage scales with the building without replacing the core system. Integrated power supply and battery charger mean the expansion panel carries its own power resiliency.
Key features
- 25W amplifier expands ANS system output without a second main panel
- Field selectable 25V or 70.7V speaker output to match existing circuit voltage
- Stackable architecture: gang multiple modules for up to 2,000W total system power
- Integrated power supply and battery charger for standalone power resiliency
- NFPA 72 compliant voice evacuation for UL Listed fire alarm applications
- Gray cabinet for low-visibility commercial installations (also available in red as ANS25XR)
System requirements
Requires a Kidde ANS series main audio notification panel (ANS25MDR2, ANS50MDR2, or ANS100MDR2) as the system controller. The expansion panel connects to the main panel's audio bus and receives signal, tone, and paging commands from the host system.
