The EGCAWF-CVR is a drop-in replacement cover for Kidde Genesis LED EGC Series ceiling-mount horns. White housing with red FIRE marking. Swap a damaged or discolored cover without replacing the entire appliance - keeps the horn back in service fast and the job closed out.

Built for the commercial fire installer

This cover fits Genesis LED EGC ceiling horn bases (EGCAWF / EGCARF models). No tools, no re-wiring - pull the old cover, snap the new one on. Keep spares on the truck for punch-list items and final inspections instead of waiting on full replacement appliance shipments.

Why stock replacement covers

  • Drop-in fit: snaps onto existing Genesis LED EGC ceiling horn bases with no tools or re-wiring
  • Maintain code compliance: replace cracked, yellowed, or paint-damaged covers without pulling the full device
  • White housing with FIRE marking matches standard commercial fire alarm installations
  • Faster closeout: resolve punch-list cosmetic items on-site instead of ordering full replacement appliances

FAQs

Does this cover fit EGC strobes or horn-strobes?
No. This cover is specifically for EGC ceiling horn models (EGCAWF / EGCARF). Strobe and horn-strobe appliances use different cover profiles with lens cutouts. Check the EGC Series spec sheet for the correct replacement cover SKU for your device.
Do I need to remove the horn from the backbox to replace the cover?
No. The cover snaps off and on without dismounting the base or disconnecting wiring. It's a field-serviceable swap.
Is this cover available in red?
Yes. The EGCARF-CVR is the red housing equivalent with FIRE marking. Both red and white covers carry the same snap-on fit for EGC ceiling horns.
What Genesis LED EGC models use this cover?
This cover fits the EGCAWF (white ceiling horn with FIRE marking). For other EGC ceiling horn color and marking combinations, refer to the Replacement Appliance Covers section of the Genesis LED EGC Series spec sheet.
