The EGCAWA-CVR is a replacement cover for Kidde's Genesis LED EGC Series ceiling mount horn appliances. Swap a damaged or discolored cover without pulling the device off the ceiling or disconnecting wiring - the cover snaps on and off the base in seconds.

Built for quick field service

White finish with red ALERT marking matches the standard Genesis EGC ceiling horn aesthetic. If a cover takes damage during construction, tenant turnover, or routine wear, this gets the device back to spec without a full appliance replacement. Compatible with Genesis LED EGC Series ceiling mount horn models.

Why stock replacement covers

  • Seconds to swap: snap-on design means no tools, no base removal, no rewiring
  • Maintain code-compliant appearance without replacing the entire notification appliance
  • White finish with red ALERT marking matches the standard Genesis EGC ceiling horn line
  • Reduces truck stock cost compared to carrying full replacement appliances for cosmetic issues

FAQs

What Genesis devices does this cover fit?
The EGCAWA-CVR fits Genesis LED EGC Series ceiling mount horn (audible-only) appliances. It does not fit wall mount (EG1/EG4), strobe-only, or horn-strobe models - each has its own cover SKU within the Genesis line.
Do I need to remove the horn base from the ceiling to swap the cover?
No. The cover snaps on and off the base without tools. The horn base stays mounted and wired in place.
Will this cover work on older (non-LED) Genesis ceiling horns?
This cover is designed for the Genesis LED EGC Series. Verify compatibility with your installed model before ordering. Older pre-LED Genesis covers may differ in clip geometry.
What other marking options are available for EGC ceiling horn covers?
Kidde offers Genesis EGC ceiling horn covers in white and red, with ALERT or FIRE marking options. Check the full EGC Series ordering matrix for all available cover SKUs.
