Which EG1 devices does this cover fit?
This cover fits all Genesis LED EG1 Series horn-only wall-mount models: EG1ARF, EG1ARN, EG1AWF, and EG1AWN. It does not fit EG1 strobe-only or horn-strobe models. Strobe covers use the EG1V*-CVR part numbers, and horn-strobe covers use EG1AV*-CVR.
Can I swap covers in the field without removing the device?
Yes. Genesis LED EG1 covers snap on and off the backplate. Release the locking tab at the bottom of the cover and pull it free, then snap the new cover into place. No tools needed, and the device stays mounted and wired.
What's the difference between this cover and the EG1AWA-CVR?
Both are white horn covers for the EG1 Series. The EG1AWN-CVR has no marking text. The EG1AWA-CVR is marked ALERT. Choose based on the AHJ marking requirement for the installation.
Will this cover affect sound output?
No. The perforated grille is designed to maintain full horn audibility. Sound output ratings are determined by the appliance behind the cover, not the cover itself.
