The EGCSWN-CVR is a replacement cover for Kidde's Genesis LED EGCS Series ceiling-mount speakers. White finish (RAL 9002) with no marking on the face - ready for applications where code doesn't require FIRE or ALERT text, or where the speaker serves a non-fire mass notification role.

Simple field swap

The cover snaps onto any existing Genesis LED EGCS ceiling speaker base without disconnecting wiring or removing the backbox. Keep a few on the truck for cosmetic damage replacements or marking-change requests without pulling a full new appliance.

What speaker models does this cover fit?
Fits all Kidde Genesis LED EGCS Series ceiling-mount speaker and speaker-strobe assemblies. Replaces the front cover only - the speaker, wiring, and backbox stay in place.
Does this cover include the speaker or strobe?
No. This is the replacement cover only. Order the full speaker appliance (EGCSWN or similar) separately if you need the complete unit.
What is the difference between FIRE, ALERT, and no-marking covers?
FIRE covers (F suffix) have "FIRE" printed. ALERT covers (A suffix) have "ALERT" printed. No-marking covers (N suffix) are blank - for jobs where code doesn't require marking or for non-fire mass notification use.
Can I swap the cover without removing the backbox?
Yes. The cover snaps onto the Genesis LED EGCS appliance base. No need to disconnect wiring or remove the mounting base from the electrical box.
