Replacement cover for the Kidde Genesis LED EGCS Series ceiling mount speaker. White finish with red ALERT marking. Swaps onto the existing appliance without tools or rewiring - remove the old cover, snap the new one in place, done.

Built for field service

Covers take hits over time from paint overspray, construction dust, and impact damage. This replacement cover restores the installed Genesis EGCS ceiling speaker to factory appearance without pulling the backbox or touching wiring. The cover removes and replaces independently of the speaker's wiring plate and electronics.

Does this cover fit Genesis EGCS speaker-strobes?
No. Speaker-strobe models use EGCSV-series covers (e.g. EGCSVWA-CVR) which include the strobe lens cutout. This cover fits speaker-only EGCS models.
What other marking and color options are available?
White covers: ALERT (EGCSWA-CVR), FIRE (EGCSWF-CVR), and no marking (EGCSWN-CVR). Red covers: FIRE (EGCSRF-CVR) and no marking (EGCSRN-CVR).
Do I need to remove the speaker to replace the cover?
No. The cover snaps off and on independently. No need to access wiring, remove the backbox, or disconnect the speaker circuit.
Does this cover include the wiring plate?
No. The room side wiring plate (GRSW) ships with the speaker appliance and is reused when replacing the cover.
