The 116DEGEX-FJ drops into Class I Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations where standard notification appliances can't go. This Genesis explosionproof xenon strobe delivers 125 cd ceiling or 60 cd wall output per UL 1971, with negligible in-rush current that won't trip supervised circuits on activation.

Built for hazardous environment installs

Factory-sealed construction means no external seals to manage on site. The modular design threads onto wall, ceiling, or pendant mounting modules (sold separately) for flexible positioning in refineries, grain mills, laboratories, and other classified areas. Epoxy powder coat resists corrosion in harsh industrial environments. cUL listed to CAN/ULC-S526-07 and UL 1638 for indoor and outdoor use with dome guard installed.

Does this strobe require field sealing at installation?
No. The 116DEGEX-FJ is factory sealed. No external seals are required at the point of installation, which saves time on the job in hazardous locations.
What mounting options are available?
Three modules (sold separately): wall bracket elbow (116EX-B) with 3" hub, ceiling/wall module (116EX-C) with 3/4" conduit entries, and pendant module (116EX-P) with 3/4" NPT entry. The strobe threads onto any of them.
