The G1WT-ALERT trim ring finishes the install on Kidde Genesis LED EG1 Series wall mount notification devices, covering oversized box openings and providing visible ALERT marking for mass notification applications. White body with red ALERT text printed vertically on both sides of the appliance opening.

When you need it

Required when mounting EG1 Series wall appliances on electrical boxes wider than 3 inches - that includes 2-gang, 4-inch octagon, and 4-inch square boxes. Optional on standard 1-gang boxes where the appliance already covers the opening. All boxes must be at least 1-1/2 in. deep.
