The Kidde Genesis WG4WA-S is an outdoor-rated wall/ceiling speaker built for emergency communication systems (ECS) and mass notification (MNS) applications. It drops into wet locations where standard indoor notification appliances fall short - parking structures, loading docks, covered walkways, and exterior corridors - running off the same 25V or 70V amplified signal circuit already on the job.
Built for the commercial fire alarm installer
The WG4WA-S mounts on a standard 4" square box (1-1/2" deep without trim skirt, 2-1/8" deep with skirt) or the outdoor-rated 74347U surface mount box. Field-selectable wattage taps (1/4W, 1/2W, 1W, 2W) and voltage selection (25V or 70V) let you dial in the right output for the space without swapping hardware. Wire terminations accept 12 to 18 AWG. Compatible with Kidde VM and VS Series life safety systems and FX Series fire alarm control panels.

Connects to any listed fire alarm control panel or amplifier providing a supervised 25V or 70V signal circuit. Specifically compatible with Kidde VM Series, VS Series, and FX Series fire alarm systems. Part of the Genesis WG4 outdoor family - pairs with WG4WA-SVMC (speaker-strobe, clear lens) or WG4WA-SVMA (speaker-strobe, amber lens) when both audio and visual notification are needed at the same location.
