The Genesis WG4WA-SVMA is a wet-rated outdoor speaker/strobe built for ECS/MNS (Emergency Communication System / Mass Notification System) applications. Wall or ceiling mount, white housing with ALERT marking and amber strobe lens - ready to deploy on exterior walls, parking structures, and covered outdoor areas where standard indoor appliances won't hold up.

Built for the commercial installer

Speaker voltage (25V or 70V) and wattage (2W, 1W, 1/2W, 1/4W) are both field-selectable, so one SKU covers multiple circuit designs without stocking extra models. The strobe runs on a separate 24 VDC circuit with four candela settings (13/25/59/62 cd, UL 1971 rated) selectable via DIP switch. Compatible with Kidde VM and VS Series life safety systems and FX Series fire alarm control panels. Strobe synchronization works with Genesis sync modules including GSA-CC1S, GSA-MCC1S, SIGA-CC2A, and GSA-MCC2A.

Mounting

Mounts to a standard 4" square electrical box. For dry locations, use a 1-1/2" deep box without trim skirt or a 2-1/8" deep box with the WG4 trim skirt. For wet/outdoor locations, the 74347U surface mount box is recommended (WG4 trim skirt recommended with surface mount). Accepts 12 to 18 AWG field wiring.
