System requirements
Requires a compatible Kidde fire alarm control panel with RS-485 annunciator output. Wire with 18 to 14 AWG twisted pair (6 twists per foot minimum). Maximum wire run: 4,000 ft. (1,219 m) from the panel. For Canadian installations, mount in a Kidde RA-ENC2 or RA-ENC3 listed enclosure.
