The Kidde FSRZI-A gives installers remote LED zone annunciation for commercial fire alarm systems without running back to the main panel. Mounted at a secondary location - lobby entrance, security desk, maintenance office - it mirrors alarm and trouble status by zone so building staff and responding crews see exactly what's happening before they reach the FACP.

Powered at 24 VDC from the fire alarm control panel or an approved power supply, the FSRZI-A communicates over supervised RS-485 and requires no programming beyond setting the network address via binary DIP switches. It mounts in a standard North American 4-inch square electrical box, keeping install time short and hardware costs minimal. UL and ULC listed for fire protective signaling systems.

Requires a compatible Kidde fire alarm control panel with RS-485 annunciator output. Wire with 18 to 14 AWG twisted pair (6 twists per foot minimum). Maximum wire run: 4,000 ft. (1,219 m) from the panel. For Canadian installations, mount in a Kidde RA-ENC2 or RA-ENC3 listed enclosure.
