The Kidde FSRSI puts FACP status on the wall where building managers and first responders need it - at remote locations throughout the facility. This R-Series LED annunciator displays power, alarm, supervisory, trouble, and ground fault conditions in real time over RS-485, giving your customer clear system visibility without a trip to the panel room.

Built for the commercial fire alarm installer

The FSRSI communicates with compatible Kidde Commercial fire alarm control panels over the RS-485 data riser, configurable for Class A or Class B wiring. Powered by the FACP or a listed 24 VDC auxiliary supply, it mounts on a standard 4-inch square electrical box with the included mounting ring or surface-mounts in a locking steel RA-series enclosure for a finished look. UL, ULC, and FM listed.

What fire alarm panels is the FSRSI compatible with?
The FSRSI works with Kidde Commercial FX64, FX1000, VS1, VS4, EVOLVE, and VM series fire alarm control panels.
Does the FSRSI require programming?
No. Set the unit address via the onboard DIP switches and it automatically receives all status information from the connected FACP. No laptop or software needed.
Can I wire it Class A for survivability?
Yes. The RS-485 data riser supports both Class A and Class B wiring configurations, up to 4,000 ft total wire run on 18 to 14 AWG twisted pair.
What power supply does the FSRSI need?
24 VDC continuous, supplied by the fire alarm control panel or a UL-listed auxiliary power supply. No separate transformer required.
How does the FSRSI mount?
