The Kidde VS1-RE is a complete replacement electronics assembly for the VS Series one-loop intelligent fire alarm control panel. When the original board fails, this drop-in replacement reuses the existing VS Series enclosure and field wiring - no new cabinet, no re-pull, no full panel swap.

Built for the fire alarm installer

The VS1-RE ships as a ready-to-install assembly with the full VS Series front panel interface: LCD display, numeric keypad, and system status indicators for ALARM, TROUBLE, and DISABLE. One SLC loop supports the same addressable device population as the original VS1 panel. English-language interface throughout.
