The FX-64-RE is the replacement electronics assembly for the FX-64 intelligent fire alarm control panel, supplied with one 64-point device loop. It restores a panel whose board has failed without replacing the enclosure or disturbing the field wiring.

Replacing a whole panel because the electronics failed means pulling every field termination and re-terminating it in a new cabinet, then re-commissioning the system. Swapping the electronics assembly keeps the enclosure, the conduit entries, and the terminated loop and NAC wiring exactly where they are, which is the difference between an afternoon and a multi-day outage on an occupied building.
The assembly carries the same one-loop 64-address capability as the original: rotary addressing, automatic device mapping, and two Class B notification appliance circuits.
