The RBPS6A is a replacement main board for Kidde's 6.5-amp Booster Power Supply (EBPS6A/BPS6AC family) Ć¢ā¬ā a UL 864 10th-edition-listed, filtered and regulated 24 VDC supply used to add notification appliance circuits or auxiliary power where the base fire alarm panel's onboard NAC capacity runs out.
Built for the commercial fire installer
When a booster power supply's electronics fail in the field, the RBPS6A gets the cabinet back in service without replacing the whole enclosure, batteries, or wiring Ć¢ā¬ā the field wiring and steel cabinet stay put and only the main board changes. The 6.5A booster it services provides four Class B NACs (convertible to two Class A), each rated 3.0A with a 6.5A total budget, plus configurable auxiliary outputs and Genesis/Enhanced Integrity notification appliance synchronization.
Key features
- Direct field replacement for the main board in a 6.5-amp Kidde Booster Power Supply cabinet
- Four Class B NACs (convertible to two Class A), 3.0A max. per circuit, 6.5A total
- Configurable auxiliary outputs Ć¢ā¬ā any of the four NACs can be reassigned as an auxiliary output
- On-board diagnostic LEDs identify wiring or internal faults without a meter
- Supports Genesis and Enhanced Integrity notification appliance synchronization
