USB Interface Card for FACP Configuration Utility & Event Printing

The Kidde SA-USB interface card adds USB connectivity to compatible Kidde fire alarm control panels, giving installers a direct link between the panel and a PC running the Kidde Configuration Utility (CU). Upload and download panel configuration, pull system history and diagnostics, and check real-time panel status without navigating the front panel keypad. The same USB port connects to a supported printer for automatic system event logging.

Built for the fire alarm installer

The SA-USB installs internally on the panel's main board via ribbon cable and presents a standard USB Type B port at the panel enclosure. No external power supply required - the card draws power from the host panel. For techs running commissioning, annual inspections, or troubleshooting callbacks, having CU access through a single USB cable cuts programming time significantly compared to keypad-only configuration.
