The SD-TRM is a magnet-operated remote test and reset station for SuperDuct duct smoke detectors. Hold a test magnet to the marked target on the plate and the detector tests or resets, with no keyswitch to manage and no moving parts in the wall plate to wear out or jam.

Duct detectors end up on rooftop units and above hard ceilings, so annual testing and post-alarm resets mean roof access or a lift unless the function is brought down to a wall. The SD-TRM does that with a sealed plate and a magnet, which suits sites where keys get lost or where several technicians need access without key control. The red alarm LED reports detector status at a glance.
It fits a standard North American 1-gang box or a 4-inch square box with a 1-gang cover, and takes ordinary 12 to 22 AWG wiring. Listed by UL, ULC, FDNY, CB, and CC.

System requirements
For use with SuperDuct conventional two-wire and Signature duct smoke detectors. Requires a test magnet to operate; order the SD-MAG test magnet kit if the site does not already have one. Wire with 12 to 22 AWG, keeping resistance under 10 ohms per wire. An end-of-line resistor is required on the last controller only, with its value set by the fire alarm control panel. Do not loop wires under the terminals. For a keyed station instead, order the SD-TRK.
