The Kidde GSA-CC1S is a single-input synchronization output module for the Genesis notification appliance family. It takes one NAC riser input, generates ring tones internally, and synchronizes Genesis chime-strobe flash patterns to meet NFPA 72 temporal requirements - all from a standard 2-gang electrical box.
Built for the fire alarm installer
This module sits between the FACP and Genesis notification appliances on a single NAC circuit. The built-in ring tone generator eliminates the need for a separate tone source on the circuit, and the synchronization output keeps all connected Genesis strobes flashing within the UL 1971 timing window. UL and ULC listed for commercial fire alarm notification circuits. Rated for 32 to 120 degrees F operating environments.
Key features
- Single-input NAC riser design: one circuit in, synchronized output to Genesis chimes and chime-strobes
- Built-in ring tone generator: no external tone source needed on the circuit
- Strobe synchronization: keeps Genesis strobes within UL 1971 / NFPA 72 sync timing requirements
- 2-gang box mounting: fits standard electrical boxes already on the wall
- UL and ULC listed for commercial fire alarm notification circuits
- 24 VDC or 24 VFWR input: powers from standard FACP NAC output
System requirements
Requires a compatible Kidde fire alarm control panel (FACP) with NAC output. Connect to Genesis series chimes, chime-strobes, or strobes on the notification appliance circuit. Accepts 12 to 18 AWG field wiring.
