SKU:
KD-GSA-MCC1

The Kidde GSA-MCC1 connects a single conventional initiating device circuit to a Kidde intelligent fire alarm panel over the SLC loop. Class AB wiring support covers both Class A and Class B circuit configurations from one module, and the UIO-mount form factor drops into standard Kidde mounting platforms for consistent, organized installations.

Built for the fire alarm installer

Rotary switch addressing makes device enrollment straightforward - set the TENS and ONES dials, mount the module, and the panel picks it up on the next SLC poll. Ground fault detection pinpoints wiring problems to the specific module location, cutting troubleshooting time on the job. The module monitors a single normally open, alarm, supervisory, or monitor type dry contact IDC and reports status back to the control panel.

Key features

  • Single IDC monitoring: supervises one conventional initiating device circuit on the SLC loop
  • Class AB wiring: supports both Class A and Class B circuit configurations from one module
  • Rotary addressing: set the device address with TENS and ONES rotary switches - no programming tool needed at the device
  • Ground fault detection: pinpoints wiring faults to the module level for faster troubleshooting
  • UIO mount: standard Kidde mounting platform, fits North American 4-inch square electrical boxes
  • Bicolor LED status: flashing green for normal, flashing red for active - visible confirmation without pulling out a meter

System requirements

Requires a compatible Kidde intelligent fire alarm control panel with an available SLC loop point. Mounts in a North American 4-inch square x 2-1/2 in. deep 2-gang box or standard 4-inch square box 1-1/2 in. deep.

What does the GSA-MCC1 monitor?
The GSA-MCC1 monitors a single conventional initiating device circuit (IDC). It accepts normally open, alarm, supervisory, or monitor type dry contact inputs and reports status to the Kidde intelligent fire alarm control panel over the SLC loop.
What wiring classes does this module support?
Class AB - it supports both Class A and Class B circuit configurations from a single module. No need to stock separate part numbers for different wiring topologies.
What Kidde panels is this compatible with?
The GSA-MCC1 is compatible with Kidde intelligent fire alarm control panels that support SLC loop devices with rotary addressing.
What electrical boxes does this module fit?
Mounts in a North American 4-inch square x 2-1/2 in. (64 mm) deep 2-gang box or a standard 4-inch square box 1-1/2 in. (38 mm) deep using the UIO mounting platform.
Does this module need a separate power supply?
No. The GSA-MCC1 draws operating power directly from the SLC loop. No additional power runs required at the module location.
