SKU:
KD-EG1M-RM

The Genesis Signal Master EG1M-RM keeps every strobe on a NAC circuit flashing in lockstep - synchronized within 10 ms, indefinitely, exceeding UL 1971 requirements. Remote mount design installs in a standard 1-gang box, separate from the notification appliances, and works with any manufacturer's fire alarm control panel.

Built for the fire alarm installer

One module per NAC circuit is all it takes. The EG1M-RM synchronizes Genesis LED, Genesis, and Enhanced Integrity strobes and horn-strobes while enabling independent audible silence from the FACP - horn control over a single pair of wires, no extra cabling. Compatible with any manufacturer's panel, so it drops into existing systems without rework.

Key features

  • Indefinite strobe synchronization: within 10 ms across the entire NAC circuit, exceeding UL 1971
  • Independent horn silence: enables audible-only silencing on horn-strobe circuits from any FACP
  • Works with any manufacturer's FACP - no proprietary panel lock-in
  • Remote mount in standard 1-gang boxes: 3 " x 2" x 2 " minimum depth
  • 3A circuit rating supports larger NAC loops than the piggyback EG1M model
  • UL 1971, UL 1638, UL 464, ULC S525, ULC S526 listed

System requirements

Requires 16-33 VDC or 16-33 VFWR from the NAC circuit. One Signal Master per NAC circuit. Connects with #18 to #12 AWG wiring. Compatible with Genesis LED, Genesis, and Enhanced Integrity notification appliance families.

How many Signal Masters do I need per system?
One per NAC circuit. Each EG1M-RM synchronizes all Genesis and Enhanced Integrity strobes on a single circuit.
What is the difference between the EG1M and EG1M-RM?
EG1M is piggyback (snaps to the first device, 2A rating). EG1M-RM is remote mount (installs in a 1-gang box, separate from devices, 3A rating for larger circuits).
Does the Signal Master work with any fire alarm panel?
Yes. The EG1M-RM works with any manufacturer's FACP. It synchronizes strobes and enables independent horn silence regardless of the panel brand.
What does independent horn silence mean?
The Signal Master allows the FACP to silence only the horns (audible) on horn-strobe circuits while keeping strobes flashing. This is accomplished over a single pair of wires - no extra cabling required.
Is UL 1971 synchronization required on every project?
UL 1971 requires that strobes visible from the same location flash in synchronization. The Signal Master exceeds this standard with synchronization within 10 ms, sustained indefinitely.
