The ANSSW8 adds eight momentary contact switches and eight tri-color LEDs to a Kidde ANS voice evacuation panel, giving building staff or fire command center personnel manual control over paging, message playback, or control functions without a laptop or configuration session.

Pair the ANSSW8 with an ANSZM4B2A Zone Splitter to enable zone paging - LEDs show steady red for an active page and flashing red for alarm, green for a broadcast emergency message, and amber if the associated speaker zone faults. Switches can also be programmed for control functions, driving a corresponding point on an ANSXM8 Output Card when activated. Only one message plays at a time, and a fire alarm condition always overrides the queue.
