The GRSW-10 is the universal room-side wiring plate used to pre-install and pre-wire a Genesis EGC Series ceiling notification appliance ahead of the finish trades, then snap the appliance on once drywall and paint are done.
Built for the commercial installer
The plate mounts to the electrical box first, so the crew can land and terminate the field wiring and verify continuity with the built-in diagnostics check bar long before the appliance itself goes up. When it's time to close out the job, the appliance snaps onto the plate with a quarter-turn and locks in place — no fishing for terminals behind a live device.
