SKU:
KD-EG4VWA-CVR

The EG4VWA-CVR is a replacement strobe cover for Kidde Genesis LED EG4 Series wall mount visual notification appliances. White finish with ALERT marking - drop it onto an existing EG4 strobe chassis and restore the appliance to service without replacing the entire unit.

Built for the fire alarm installer

Keep a few on the truck for service calls. When a Genesis LED EG4 wall strobe cover gets cracked, painted over, or damaged during construction, this cover swaps in without pulling the appliance off the wall or rewiring anything. Same UL-listed fit as the original factory cover.

What devices does this cover fit?
The EG4VWA-CVR fits all Kidde Genesis LED EG4 Series wall mount visual (strobe-only) notification appliances. It does not fit the EG1 compact series, EGC ceiling mount series, or horn/horn-strobe models.
What is the difference between ALERT and FIRE marking?
ALERT-marked covers are used in mass notification and general signaling applications. FIRE-marked covers are required for fire alarm systems per NFPA 72. Choose the marking that matches your application and AHJ requirements.
Does this cover come with mounting hardware?
No additional hardware is needed. The cover snaps onto the existing Genesis LED EG4 wall strobe chassis, replacing the original cover directly.
Can I use this to convert a FIRE-marked strobe to ALERT?
Yes. Swapping the cover changes the visible marking from FIRE to ALERT (or vice versa with the corresponding cover SKU) without replacing the strobe appliance itself.
