The EG4AVWN-CVR is a replacement front cover for Kidde Genesis LED EG4 Series wall-mount horn-strobe notification appliances. White housing with no marking - snap it onto an existing EG4 horn-strobe chassis without pulling the device off the wall or touching the wiring.
Quick cover swap, no rewiring
The cover snaps directly onto the EG4 Series device chassis. While the cover is removed, the candela selector switch and tone selector switch are accessible for field adjustment - set the strobe output (15, 30, 75, or 110 cd) and horn pattern (constant or temporal) before snapping the new cover in place. The candela setting remains visible through a small window on the side of the device after installation.
When to use this cover
- Color change: convert a red EG4 horn-strobe housing to white without replacing the device
- Marking change: swap from a "FIRE" marked cover to an unmarked cover (or vice versa with EG4AVWF-CVR)
