A transition plate between an Alarm.com Pro Series camera and a large conduit box or pendant cap. It is the piece that lets a camera designed for a flat surface sit on mounting hardware designed for something else.
Built for the commercial installer
Alarm.com rebadges Vivotek hardware, so the mounting ecosystem includes Vivotek bases. This plate bridges the two, which is how a camera gets onto a pendant drop in a warehouse or a conduit box on an exterior wall without improvising an adapter on site.
Note it is only needed for those transitions. A camera going directly onto a wall or ceiling does not require it, so do not add it to every line on a quote by default.
