Built for the commercial installer

It gives Pro Series cameras compatibility with the AM-71D conduit box and the AM-52E small pendant cap, which covers the conduit-fed exterior positions and the shorter pendant drops. Alarm.com lists it as a mounting accessory for the ADC-V730 and ADC-VC730P among others.

Like the large version it is only needed for those transitions. A camera going straight onto a wall or ceiling does not need it.
