The R32-16PA puts a 16-channel 4K NVR with 16 built-in PoE ports in a 1U rack slot for SMB-scale deployments. Cameras run off the NVR directly -- no separate PoE switch needed -- and analytics run at the camera edge, not on the recorder, keeping the box responsive as the channel count fills.

Built for the commercial installer

NDAA compliant and FCC certified, the R32-16PA covers bids with federal supply chain requirements. ONVIF compatibility means it accepts third-party cameras alongside native Luminys units on the same job. Two SATA bays take up to 10TB per drive (20TB total) without requiring an external storage module. LumiCloud Lite is included -- basic remote access, health monitoring, and event alerts require no extra license.

Analytics by Camera

When paired with compatible Luminys cameras, the R32-16PA supports Intelligent Motion Detection (16 channels), Video Content Analysis (8 channels), Face Detection (4 channels), and License Plate Recognition (4 channels). Processing happens at the camera edge. Smart Search filters footage by target classification, channel, time range, and event type.

Cloud and remote management

Does the R32-16PA need a separate PoE switch to power cameras?
No. All 16 PoE ports are built into the NVR (IEEE 802.3 af/at). The total PoE budget is 115W with a maximum of 25.5W per port, which covers most Luminys 8MP cameras. Run your camera cables directly to the NVR.
What cameras are compatible with the R32-16PA?
ONVIF-compliant cameras are supported. Luminys cameras connect plug-and-play and unlock analytics features (iMD, VCA, Face Detection, LPR). Third-party cameras can be added via ONVIF or RTSP with standard functionality.
How much storage does the R32-16PA support?
Two SATA bays, each supporting up to 10TB, for a maximum of 20TB. Hard drives are not included and must be purchased separately.
