The R32-8PA is an 8-channel 4K NVR with eight built-in PoE ports -- cameras plug directly in without a separate switch, and the recorder powers them over the same run. Two SATA bays hold up to 20TB, and LumiAnalytics edge processing runs iMD, VCA, face detection, and LPR at the camera so the NVR isn't carrying the analytics compute load.
Built for the commercial installer
NDAA-compliant and FCC-certified. ONVIF and RTSP interoperability means it accepts any compliant IP camera, not just Luminys. LumiCloud Lite ships standard for remote access and mobile viewing -- cloud recording is available via a paid LumiCloud HD upgrade if the job requires it. 160 Mbps incoming bandwidth handles all eight channels at full resolution simultaneously.
Key capabilities
- 8-port built-in PoE (IEEE 802.3 af/at): cameras connect and power from one cable, no separate switch required
- Up to 8MP across all 8 channels with H.265 compression -- full 4K retention without oversized storage costs
- Dual SATA, up to 20TB total: size storage to the job's retention requirement on the first visit
- LumiAnalytics by Camera: iMD, VCA, face detection, and LPR run at the camera edge -- the NVR searches and plays back, it doesn't process
- HDMI 4K + VGA outputs for dual-monitor setups without a separate splitter
- NDAA-compliant for government, municipal, and institutional project eligibility
System requirements
Accepts ONVIF-compatible IP cameras. Luminys cameras with LumiAnalytics by Camera unlock full analytics search and smart search by target classification. Storage drives sold separately -- surveillance-grade 24/7-rated HDDs recommended. One 1 Gbps uplink port for client access and cloud connectivity.
