The R54-32PA is Luminys' high-density 32-channel 8K NVR built for large commercial deployments that need real throughput without a rack full of equipment. Twenty-four PoE ports -- including 8 LumiPower outputs capable of reaching 3,000 feet -- drive cameras directly from the recorder. Recorder-side iMD, VCA, and face recognition run without per-camera subscriptions. NDAA-compliant.

Built for the commercial installer

Running AI-off, the R54-32PA handles 400 Mbps in each direction and decodes up to two 32MP streams simultaneously. Flip AI on and decoding narrows, but you gain full face recognition, LumiSearch+, and VCA analytics directly on the box. Four SATA bays plus one eSATA port accommodate up to 64TB total storage (drives not included). The 1.5U chassis keeps rack real estate tight on high-channel jobs.

LumiSearch+ lets you search footage by appearance -- body shape, clothing color -- across all LumiSearch+-enabled cameras on the system. Note: activating LumiSearch+ disables Analytics by Recorder, Local Fisheye Dewarp, and the NVR face database. Cameras retain their own database access. For sites needing both, run analytics at the camera edge and use LumiSearch+ for footage search.

Connects via single GbE port (10/100/1000 Mbps). LumiSearch+ requires LumiSearch+-enabled cameras. Face recognition and LPR require compatible Luminys cameras. Storage drives are not included -- size to site retention needs. LumiViewer desktop and mobile apps included; LumiCloud Lite bundled (Unity subscription separate).
