Both NICs are live simultaneously - run one to your management network and one to your camera VLAN, or use them for active redundancy. The unit ships NDAA Section 889 compliant, so it clears federal, state, and government-adjacent job requirements. ONVIF and RTSP interoperability mean it slots into mixed-manufacturer deployments; full AI analytics require compatible Luminys cameras but standard recording works with any ONVIF stream.
