The Luminys R54-32PA16 is a 32-channel, 8K-capable NVR built for mid-to-large commercial installations that need recorder-side analytics without a separate server. Twenty-four built-in PoE ports — eight of which carry LumiPower for runs up to 3,000 feet — and 16TB of pre-installed storage mean this unit can cover a significant camera count from day one. NDAA compliant and ONVIF-ready, it drops into existing infrastructure without forcing a camera replacement cycle.

Built for the commercial installer

The R54-32PA16 ships in a 1.5U chassis that rack-mounts or sits on a desktop. Four SATA bays plus one eSATA port scale to 64TB total when fully populated. Dual HDMI outputs run independently at up to 4K, with simultaneous VGA outputs for multi-monitor control rooms. H.265+ compression keeps storage consumption in check across all 32 channels at resolutions up to 32MP per channel, and a 400 Mbps recording bandwidth (AI Off) gives plenty of headroom on dense deployments.

System requirements

Cameras connect directly across any of the 24 built-in PoE ports or over the network via the onboard Gigabit Ethernet uplink. LumiSearch+ and enhanced recorder-side analytics require LumiSearch+-enabled Luminys cameras. Remote access and alarm management use LumiViewer (desktop), LumiViewer Mobile, or LumiCloud — Lite is bundled; Unity subscriptions are available separately.
