The LVL-256 is a one-time perpetual license that unlocks the full capacity of LumiViewer on existing installations. Once applied, the software supports up to 256 video channels and 32 access control doors ā double the default baseline ā with no hardware swap and no recurring subscription cost.
Expand without replacing
LumiViewer ships free with Luminys NVRs and is available as a standalone desktop and mobile client. The base install handles up to 128 video channels and 8 access control doors, which covers most small commercial deployments. When a site outgrows that ceiling, the LVL-256 license removes the cap at the software level. Enter the key under System Settings > Software License, restart, and the expanded capacity is live.
What this license unlocks
- 256 video channels: manage cameras across multiple sites or buildings from a single LumiViewer installation
- 32 access control doors: door status monitoring, remote unlock, and event logging ā all within the same interface
- 64 simultaneous live view channels and 32-channel synchronized playback, now applicable across the full expanded camera set
- Analytics pass-through for human/vehicle detection, intrusion, line crossing, and face detection where the connected device supports it
