SKU:
LM-LVL-256

The LVL-256 is a one-time perpetual license that unlocks the full capacity of LumiViewer on existing installations. Once applied, the software supports up to 256 video channels and 32 access control doors — double the default baseline — with no hardware swap and no recurring subscription cost.

Expand without replacing

LumiViewer ships free with Luminys NVRs and is available as a standalone desktop and mobile client. The base install handles up to 128 video channels and 8 access control doors, which covers most small commercial deployments. When a site outgrows that ceiling, the LVL-256 license removes the cap at the software level. Enter the key under System Settings > Software License, restart, and the expanded capacity is live.

What this license unlocks

  • 256 video channels: manage cameras across multiple sites or buildings from a single LumiViewer installation
  • 32 access control doors: door status monitoring, remote unlock, and event logging — all within the same interface
  • 64 simultaneous live view channels and 32-channel synchronized playback, now applicable across the full expanded camera set
  • Analytics pass-through for human/vehicle detection, intrusion, line crossing, and face detection where the connected device supports it

Compatible ecosystem

Works with Luminys fixed, vari-focal, fisheye, and PTZ IP cameras, Luminys NVRs, and select Luminys access controllers and readers. Desktop client requires Windows 7/8/10/11 (64-bit), Intel Core i5-6500 or better, 8 GB RAM, and 256 GB storage. Mobile clients for iOS 14.0+ and Android 9.0+ are included at no additional cost.

License application

Apply the license key in LumiViewer under System Settings > Software License, click Apply, and restart. The expanded 256-channel and 32-door capacity is active on restart.

What video and door capacity does the LVL-256 unlock?
The LVL-256 permanently upgrades LumiViewer from 128 to 256 video channels and from 8 to 32 access control doors. The upgrade takes effect after applying the license key in System Settings > Software License and restarting the software.
Is the LVL-256 a subscription or a one-time purchase?
One-time perpetual purchase. Once applied, the expanded capacity is permanent — no recurring fees.
How do I apply the LVL-256 license after purchase?
In LumiViewer, go to System Settings > Software License, enter the license key, click Apply, and restart the software. The expanded 256-channel and 32-door capacity is active immediately on restart.
Can I add more access control doors beyond 32?
Yes. After applying LVL-256, you can stack individual LVL-DOOR licenses (one door each) to expand access control capacity up to 64 doors total.
What are the minimum hardware requirements for LumiViewer?
Desktop: Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11 (64-bit); Intel Core i5-6500 @ 3.20GHz or better; 8 GB RAM (minimum); 256 GB storage (recommended); 1280 x 800 display or higher. Mobile: iOS 14.0+ or Android 9.0+.
Is this license compatible with third-party cameras or NVRs?
