The Luminys R68-32NA is a 32-channel, 2U network video recorder built for commercial and enterprise sites that demand high resolution without sacrificing channel count. It handles cameras up to 32MP across all 32 channels, with 1400 Mbps recording bandwidth (AI Off) and 8K display output on HDMI 3 — the recorder keeps up with the camera spec, not the other way around.

Built for commercial deployment

Dual NIC (two RJ-45 ports at up to 2500 Mbps each) supports link aggregation or independent camera and management networks without additional switching hardware. Eight SATA bays plus one eSATA port accommodate up to 160 TB of storage, with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10 supported and hot swap on all bays. NDAA-compliant and FCC-certified for federal, state, and enterprise contract eligibility. ONVIF and RTSP interoperability keep it compatible with third-party cameras already on the job.

On-NVR analytics — no separate server

LumiSearch, intelligent motion detection (iMD), face recognition, VCA, video metadata, and LPR all run at the recorder — no analytics server required. Face recognition draws from up to 40 libraries with 300,000 total images. LPR tracks up to 20,000 plate numbers across allow and block lists. LumiCloud Lite is included; LumiCloud Unity subscriptions are sold separately.

System requirements

Managed via LumiViewer desktop client or LumiViewer Mobile app. LumiSearch requires LumiSearch-enabled cameras; LPR requires LPR-capable cameras. Ships diskless — storage purchased separately or via pre-configured SKUs (4 TB, 10 TB, 64 TB, and 128 TB options available).
