The Luminys R68-64NA is built for large-scale commercial deployments where resolution and channel count can't be compromised. With 64 channels, up to 32MP per camera, and 1400 Mbps recording bandwidth (AI off), it gives installers the headroom to build out high-density systems without bottlenecking on the recorder.

Dual 2.5GbE NICs keep the network backbone clear under heavy multi-stream traffic. Eight SATA bays support up to 160TB of internal storage (8x 20TB HDDs, not included), and the hot-swap tray design means drives can be swapped during operation without taking the system offline. RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10 are all supported. Four HDMI outputs -- one 8K-capable at 7680x4320 -- plus two VGA provide flexible video wall and operator station configurations. NDAA Section 889 compliant, FCC certified.

Analytics built into the recorder

• LumiSearch+: cross-camera person search by body shape and clothing color across all 64 channels (LumiSearch-enabled cameras required)
• Face recognition: up to 40 face libraries with 300,000 total pictures; NVR-side on 8 channels simultaneously
• VCA (Video Content Analytics): line crossing, intrusion, loitering, and parking detection on up to 32 channels simultaneously
• Metadata and people counting: behavior analytics across 64 channels camera-side, 8 channels NVR-side
• License Plate Recognition: 64-channel capacity with block and allow lists up to 20,000 plates (LPR cameras required)
• ONVIF and RTSP interoperability for third-party camera integration beyond the Luminys ecosystem

System requirements

HDDs not included. Supports up to eight 20TB SATA drives; an eSATA port provides external expansion. Rack mount ears and foot pads included for rack or desktop installation -- standard 2U clearance required. LumiSearch+ and AI analytics performance varies by mode (simultaneous vs. spot output); refer to the spec sheet for per-channel limits.
