The IQ5 Hub is the camera-less variant of the IQ Panel 5. Same 7-inch touchscreen, same Android 14 platform on Qualcomm DragonWing, same PowerG+ radio built in, same Z-Wave 800-Series Long Range and dual-band Wi-Fi. AT&T LTE CAT4 for cellular. Drops the on-panel 13MP camera and the dual speaker/mic array to hit a lower dealer cost.

When the on-panel camera isn't part of the job

The IQ5 Hub exists for installs where the customer already has a separate video system, or where the on-panel camera isn't part of the deal. Everything else about the IQ5 platform carries forward: PowerG+ ships in the box, legacy 319, 345, and 433 MHz support is available via add-on cards, the same UL985 / UL1023 / UL2610 / ULC-S545 / ULC-S304 listings cover residential fire and burglary and commercial burglary in both the US and Canada. Same modular RF story, same certification, same Alarm.com integration ā€” just at a lower price point. Direct upgrade path from the IQ Panel Hub AT&T family (replaces IQPH055, IQPH056, IQPH057, IQPH058).

How is the IQ5 Hub different from the IQ Panel 5?
The Hub drops the 13MP PortraitView on-panel camera, downgrades the dual 4W speakers to a single 2W speaker, and uses one MEMS mic instead of two. Everything else ā€” chipset, OS, wireless capacity, cert ā€” matches the Panel.

Which IQ Panel Hub models does this replace?
IQH5018 is the direct upgrade path for the AT&T IQ Panel Hub SKUs IQPH055, IQPH056, IQPH057, and IQPH058. Existing PowerG sensor deployments migrate forward via standard takeover; legacy 319/345/433 MHz sensors are supported via optional add-on card.
Can I reuse existing 319, 345, or 433 MHz sensors?
Yes, with the corresponding legacy RF add-on card installed at the panel. PowerG+ is built in; other frequencies are per-frequency add-on cards.
Is the IQ5 Hub UL Commercial listed?
Yes. UL985, UL1023, UL2610 cover residential fire, residential burglary, and commercial burglary. ULC-S545 and ULC-S304 cover Canada.
