The Omada SG2210MP is a 10-port Gigabit Smart switch with eight PoE+ ports and a 150 W budget, built for a small rack or shelf full of cameras and access points. Two SFP slots take fiber uplinks, and the whole switch is managed in the same Omada site as the gateway and APs.

Built for camera and wireless deployments

Every RJ45 port is 802.3af/at PoE+, with Perpetual PoE keeping devices powered through a switch reboot and Fast PoE bringing them up before the switch finishes booting. Static routing, 802.1Q VLANs, ACLs and 802.1X cover segmented camera, voice and guest networks. The steel case mounts in a rack with the included brackets or sits on a desk.

Key features

  • 8 PoE+ ports, 150 W total: 802.3af/at for PTZs, APs and phones
  • Perpetual and Fast PoE: devices stay powered through a switch reboot and power up early on a cold start
  • Two SFP slots: for fiber uplinks to the core or between buildings
  • VLANs, static routing and ACLs: up to 4K VLAN groups and 32 IPv4/IPv6 static routes
  • Rackmount or desktop: mounting brackets and feet included
  • Omada management: zero-touch provisioning and batch firmware upgrades through the cloud controller

System requirements

Powered from 100-240V AC with the included power cord. Powered devices must be 802.3af or 802.3at compliant. Centralized management needs an Omada Cloud-Based Controller (firmware 5.15.22 or later), Omada hardware controller or Omada Software Controller (5.15.20 or later); zero-touch provisioning needs the cloud controller. Without a controller the switch runs standalone from its own web interface and CLI.

FAQs

How many PoE cameras can the SG2210MP power?
All eight RJ45 ports are PoE+ sharing a 150 W budget. Divide 150 W by each camera's max draw to size the job.
Will cameras lose power when the switch reboots?
No. Perpetual PoE keeps power on the ports during a switch reboot, and Fast PoE powers devices on a cold start before the switch finishes booting.
Does it need an Omada controller?
No. It runs standalone from its web interface and CLI. An Omada controller adds centralized management, and the cloud controller adds zero-touch provisioning.
Can it route between VLANs?
Yes. It has 32 IPv4/IPv6 static routes and a DHCP server, so it can route between camera, voice and data VLANs without a separate router for small sites.
Does it have a fan?
Yes, one fan. It is rated for 23°F to 122°F (-5°C to 50°C) operation.
