The Omada SG2210P is a 10-port Gigabit Smart switch with eight PoE+ ports and a 61 W budget, a quiet desktop option for small sites running low-draw cameras, access points and phones. Two SFP slots handle fiber uplinks, and it manages in the same Omada site as the gateway and APs.

Built for low-power PoE loads

Eight RJ45 ports supply 802.3af/at PoE+ from a shared 61 W budget. Perpetual PoE keeps devices powered through a switch reboot and Fast PoE brings them up before the switch finishes booting. VLANs, ACLs, 802.1X and static routing cover segmented networks, and the fanless steel case sits on a desk or mounts on a wall.

Key features

  • 8 PoE+ ports, 61 W total: 802.3af/at, sized for cameras, APs and phones
  • Perpetual and Fast PoE: devices stay powered through a switch reboot and power up early on a cold start
  • Two SFP slots: for fiber uplinks to the core or between buildings
  • VLANs, static routing and ACLs: up to 4K VLAN groups and 32 IPv4/IPv6 static routes
  • Fanless steel case: silent in an office, desktop or wall mount

System requirements

Uses the included 53.5V DC external power adapter. Powered devices must be 802.3af or 802.3at compliant. Centralized management needs an Omada Cloud-Based Controller (firmware 5.15.22 or later), Omada hardware controller or Omada Software Controller (5.15.20 or later); zero-touch provisioning needs the cloud controller. Without a controller the switch runs standalone from its own web interface and CLI.

FAQs

How many PoE cameras can the SG2210P power?
All eight RJ45 ports are PoE+ sharing a 61 W budget. Divide 61 W by each camera's max draw; it fits low-draw cameras better than PTZs.
Will cameras lose power when the switch reboots?
No. Perpetual PoE keeps power on the ports during a switch reboot, and Fast PoE powers devices on a cold start before the switch finishes booting.
Does it need an Omada controller?
No. It runs standalone from its web interface and CLI. An Omada controller adds centralized management, and the cloud controller adds zero-touch provisioning.
Can it route between VLANs?
Yes. It has 32 IPv4/IPv6 static routes and a DHCP server, so it can route between camera, voice and data VLANs without a separate router for small sites.
Is it fanless?
Yes. It has no fan, so it is silent in an office or on a wall.
