The Omada SG3452 is a 52-port Gigabit L2+ managed switch with 48 RJ45 ports and four SFP slots, a fanless 1U box for dense wiring closets where PoE is supplied elsewhere. It manages in the same Omada site as the gateway and APs.

Built for high-density closets

Forty-eight Gigabit ports terminate a floor of drops, and four SFP slots carry fiber or copper-SFP uplinks. 104 Gbps of switching capacity keeps the ports at line rate. Static routing, 802.1Q VLANs, QinQ, ACLs, 802.1X and IGMP snooping cover segmented networks, and the fanless case adds no noise to an occupied space.

Key features

  • 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports and four SFP slots for a full closet with fiber uplinks
  • Fanless 1U metal case: silent, rackmount kit included
  • L2+ features: static routing, DHCP server, VLANs, QinQ, ACLs and ERPS ring recovery
  • Zero-touch provisioning and batch firmware upgrades through the Omada Cloud-Based Controller
  • Standalone ready: web UI, CLI, SNMP and RMON when no controller is present

System requirements

Centralized management needs an Omada Cloud-Based Controller (firmware 5.15.22 or later), Omada hardware controller or Omada Software Controller (5.15.20 or later); zero-touch provisioning needs the cloud controller. Without a controller the switch runs standalone from its own web interface and CLI.

FAQs

Does the SG3452 have PoE?
No. It has no PoE output. For PoE cameras and APs use a PoE model such as the SG3452P.
Does it need an Omada controller?
No. It runs standalone from its web interface, CLI and SNMP. An Omada controller adds centralized management, and the cloud controller adds zero-touch provisioning.
Can it route between VLANs?
Yes. It is L2+ with 48 static routes and a DHCP server, so it can route between camera, voice and data VLANs.
Is it fanless?
Yes. It has no fan, and TP-Link lists a maximum of 26.8 dBA at 1 cm.
Does it come with rack ears?
Yes. A rackmount kit is included for a 19-inch rack, along with rubber feet.
