The DS105GE is a 5-port Gigabit Easy Smart desktop switch, the small managed-lite option for a closet, kiosk or workbench where a few VLANs or QoS rules matter. It runs from a 5 V adapter in a compact steel case.
Built for tight spots that still need VLANs
Configure it through the web GUI or the Windows Easy Smart Configuration Utility. Tag traffic into VLANs, prioritize with port, 802.1p or DSCP QoS, mirror a port to troubleshoot, and run cable diagnostics on a questionable drop. It does not join an Omada controller, so plan it as a standalone switch.

Can the DS105GE be managed from the Omada controller?
No. TP-Link states this Easy Smart switch does not support Omada SDN central management. Use the web GUI or the Easy Smart utility.
Does it support VLANs?
Yes. Up to 32 VLANs out of 4K IDs, using MTU, port-based or 802.1Q VLAN. There is no L3 routing.
Does it provide PoE?
No. It is a data-only switch powered by a 5 V DC adapter.
Can it be wall mounted?
Yes. TP-Link lists desktop and wall mounting for this model.
