MotionCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) Wireless PIR for High Mounting Positions, White

SKU AJ-107889

  • Fast shipping from four branches
  • 30-day returns on unopened products

The outdoor MotionCam built for height. Standard outdoor detectors are specified at around 3 to 4 feet; this one is designed to look down from a high mounting position, which is where a detector survives and sees a yard properly.

Built for the installer

Mounting high puts the detector out of reach of casual interference and gives a wider view of an open area such as a yard, forecourt or car park. It photographs on alarm and on demand from the app, so an activation is resolved from the image rather than by driving to site.

It runs six CR123A cells for up to three years and carries the anti-masking and outdoor filtering of the range.

FAQs

What is photo on demand?
The ability to request an image from the detector at any time through the Ajax app, rather than only receiving photos when an alarm triggers.
How is this different from installing a camera?
It images on request rather than streaming continuously, which is usually accepted in spaces such as bedrooms, staff areas and private offices where a camera would be refused.
Does it still work as a normal motion detector?
Yes. It is a full PIR detector with Ajax pet immunity and false-alarm filtering, with the camera adding verification on top.
Does this device need an Ajax hub?
Yes. All Jeweller devices report to an Ajax hub or a range extender. The device cannot operate standalone and does not connect to a third-party panel directly.
What does the 9NA region code mean?
It is the North America model, operating on the 905.0-926.5 MHz Jeweller band certified to UL/ULC standards. European 868 MHz models are not interchangeable with it.
