Photo on demand outdoors, where an unverified activation is most likely and most expensive. It photographs an alarm and can also be asked for an image at any time from the app.
Built for the installer
Outdoor detection produces the most false activations on any system, and each one is potentially a call-out. Being able to look at the frame and see a fox rather than a person settles it without anyone driving to site.
It runs up to three years on four CR123A cells and carries the outdoor filtering and anti-masking of the rest of the outdoor range.
Key features

- Settles outdoor false activations without a site visit
- Anti-masking reporting attempts to block the detector
- Up to 3 years on four CR123A cells

FAQs
What is photo on demand?
The ability to request an image from the detector at any time through the Ajax app, rather than only receiving photos when an alarm triggers.
How is this different from installing a camera?
It images on request rather than streaming continuously, which is usually accepted in spaces such as bedrooms, staff areas and private offices where a camera would be refused.
Does it still work as a normal motion detector?
Yes. It is a full PIR detector with Ajax pet immunity and false-alarm filtering, with the camera adding verification on top.
Does this device need an Ajax hub?
Yes. All Jeweller devices report to an Ajax hub or a range extender. The device cannot operate standalone and does not connect to a third-party panel directly.
What does the 9NA region code mean?
It is the North America model, operating on the 905.0-926.5 MHz Jeweller band certified to UL/ULC standards. European 868 MHz models are not interchangeable with it.
