An outdoor PIR that holds up in weather and reports someone trying to blind it. Two PIR sensors, anti-masking, and the LISA algorithm that separates a person from wind-blown foliage, rain and passing animals.

Built for the installer

Outdoor detection is where cheap detectors fail, and they fail expensively because every false alarm is a call-out at two in the morning. LISA and SmartDetect are the software filters doing that work, backed by temperature compensation from -13F to 140F.

Detection range is adjustable from 10 to 49 feet using a scrollbar on the enclosure, so the beam can be pulled back from a pavement or a neighbouring property rather than accepting whatever the default reaches. Pet immunity is by height, up to 2.6 feet, with weight not relevant. The Hood accessory is available to shield the anti-masking system from rain and snow.

How does it avoid false alarms outdoors?

Yes. It is adjustable from 10 to 49 ft using a scrollbar on the enclosure, so the beam can be pulled back from a pavement or a neighbouring property.
What does anti-masking do?
It detects attempts to block the detector's view, such as spraying or covering the lens, and reports them. Without it a masked detector simply stops detecting and nobody knows.
Is a rain shield available?
Yes. The Hood accessory protects the anti-masking system from rain and snow, and attaches with Dual Lock adhesive tape.
Does this device need an Ajax hub?
Yes. All Jeweller devices report to an Ajax hub or a range extender. The device cannot operate standalone and does not connect to a third-party panel directly.
What does the 9NA region code mean?
It is the North America model, operating on the 905.0-926.5 MHz Jeweller band certified to UL/ULC standards. European models on 868 MHz are not interchangeable with it.
How quickly is a lost device detected?
Within 36 seconds. Jeweller polls each device continuously, so a jammed, removed or failed device is reported rather than quietly going offline.
