That single difference changes who can do the job and how fast. A low-voltage crew can put this where a mains-powered floodlight camera would need a licensed electrician and a permit, which on commercial exterior work is often the whole reason a camera does or does not get installed.
It carries both Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi, so the network side is flexible even where the power side is wired. 117 degrees horizontal at up to 2688 x 1520, IP66, and rated -4F to 122F. Two-way audio is supported for talk-down.

System requirements
Requires PoE++ or a DC supply, and an Alarm.com account with a compatible video plan. A junction box (ADC-VACC-729-JB) is available for the V729, V729AC and VC729P floodlight cameras.
